  • What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply services and product to you, whether these are goods or services.

  • How we may contact you. If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website. By accessing and ordering from this website you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Any contract formed between ourselves shall be governed by English Law and any disputes that arise will be resolved exclusively in the Courts of England.

(Monday 9am-5pm. Tuesday to Saturday 10am-6pm. Sundays and Bank Holidays we are closed)

CUSTOMER INFORMATION PROTECTION

  • Security of our customer’s information is a top priority, and as such, www.watchkings.com undergoes a variety of security measures to ensure optimum safety. Whenever you submit an order via our contact forms, this information is securely protected by:
  • A secure server
  • Password protected directories and databases
  • SSL (Secure Sockets Layered) technology that ensure a user’s information is fully encrypted and sent across the Internet securely
  • PCI Scanning that actively protects our servers from hackers and other vulnerabilities

ORDER NUMBER

  • Your order number. We will assign an order number to your order and inform you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

UNITED KINGDOM ORDERS ONLY

  •      We only facilitate our services offered to the UK. Our website is solely for the promotion of our services in the UK. Unfortunately, we do not accept orders from addresses outside the UK. Our insurance does not cover packages sent from outside the UK or sent otherwise than in accordance with our pack instructions.

WATCH ASSESSMENT ON ARRIVAL

  •      By sending your watch to us, you accept and authorise us to dismantle your watch for assessment.  We will immediately inspect your watch.  We will not be responsible for any damage caused in transit, from you to us or vice versa.  It is your responsibility to ensure proper packaging when sending your watch.  We will not accept any claims that your watch was in a better condition prior to us receiving or inspecting the watch.  You should record the condition of your watch before sending to us.  If you request that no work should be carried out, and the watch returned to you, it will be returned in the same condition as it was received, and we will not accept claims that we have caused further damage.

REPLICAS

  •     We do not provide services to replica watches.  If we receive a replica using our pre-paid postage pack, we will charge an administration fee of £36 (including VAT) and a return postage cost of £18.00 (+ VAT).

TRANSIT

  • We ask that prior to sending us your watch by post you record a picture of your watch within our packaging supplied and uploaded into your initial order document to identify the make, model and serial number.
  •     Please do not accept delivery of the package returning your watch to you if it appears to have been tampered with in any way.  [Our insurance covers loss and damage in transit, but our liability to you ends on confirmed receipt by you.]

OUR SERVICES

  • WATCH KINGS offer a watch restoration service for genuine premium brand watches only.
    Should, upon receipt, a watch be identified as a copy or replica watch, this will be returned undone and any monies paid refunded less the postal charges to return the watch.

Our service prices are in British Pound only (GBP)

WATER RESISTANCE

We will inform our customers when a watch is returned to its owner what level of water resistance has been achieved.

Water Resistance is not the same as Water Proof, most watches are clearly marked with the industry recognised pressure levels and this resistance can be checked and achieved in our workshop by qualified technicians using industry rated pressure testing equipment before being quality tested and returned to the customer.

USED PARTS

  • We reserve the right to keep or dispose of parts, including glass or bezels, which we replace.  Some manufacturers will only supply parts to us on an exchange basis, making return impossible.  We may use generic parts or materials if the original parts are not available to us.  This can be the case for several reasons; including (but not limited to) parts or materials being no longer in production or restricted by the manufacturer.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We are unable to offer refunds on bespoke watch refurbishments or special orders. This means that we cannot provide refunds on items that have been altered or personalised in any way. This does not affect your statutory rights.

PRIVACY POLICY

  • WATCH KINGS is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and making our website as good as we possibly can, to this end we sometimes place small data files on your computer. These files are known as cookies.

DELIVERY POLICY

  • At the time of ordering a service from Watchkings.com you will be advised of an approximate delivery estimate. Every effort is made to meet this delivery time although on rare occasions we may be unable to deliver your order within the promised timeframe. Should this happen we will notify you of the delay and offer a revised delivery date.
  • Delivery may also be affected by circumstances beyond our control.
  • Where a delivery time is quoted in days, this refers to ‘working days’ defined as Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) when ordering before 1pm.
  • We use Royal mail for deliveries

WARRANTY CONDITIONS  

  • Invalidation of warranty. If the watch is opened, or worked on by another person not authorised by us, any warranty given by us will be immediately invalidated, and no refund will be considered.
  • Provision of warranty. In the event of a valid warranty claim, we will decide, in our absolute discretion, whether provision of the warranty will be in the form of a replacement of the original replaced part.
  • Warranty Period. The provision of services under warranty does not extend a warranty period or set a new warranty period.  A warranty will not cover:
    • Defects caused by general wear and tear;
    • Accident or negligence or lack of care; or
  • Water damage. Our warranty does not cover water damage.
  • 3rd Party Inspection. In the event of a disputed claim, we may instruct an independent watch specialist to make an assessment.
